Wai Ying (Jenny) Chan, PMHNP-BC

Hello, I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from NYU and my Master’s degree from Stony Brook University. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and challenges related to cultural identity.

As a first generation Asian American, I understand the challenges of navigating multiple cultural identities and the impact this can have on mental health. This lived experience, along with six years of work as a registered nurse in a psychiatric hospital, shapes how I connect with and support individuals seeking care, especially those who may feel misunderstood or hesitant to reach out.

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I focus on practical, evidence based treatment while creating a space where people feel heard, respected, and supported.
